He... read more took us on a loop that included a little bit of everything, from dirt roads through the pastures, to flowy singletrack downhill, to cobbly exposed limestone descents, and everything in between. The fully suspended Scott bikes were practically new and very capable. We did about 22 miles and 2500 of elevation and it took about 3.5 hours, which included many breaks for photos and water. Highly recommend Polka Dot Bicycles!

  I rented a carbon Scott Addict from Polka Dot Cycling for one day of road cycling. They allowed me to pick it up the day prior so I'd have a... read more full day's use - included a lock and helmet at no extra charge. Nice bike! The shop was conveniently located next to the ice hockey rink at the castle end of the lake (about 1 block form our hotel, Park Hotel).

I did a 36 mile loop I found on Ride with GPS up to Mojstrana (BEAUTIFUL!) then extended up to Kranjska Gora, did and out and back up the Vršič Pass (amazing with 24 cobblestoned switchbacks), then, because I was so close to both, did an out and back to both the Austrian border and then to the Italian border, back to Mojstrana and then completed the original loop back to Bled. 77 miles total with over 6,000 feet of climbing. A lot of this is on a paved "rails-to-trails" path.

The owner is one of the kindest most generous people we’ve met so far on our trip!!! very professional and accommodating. He Even arranged to come back after his closing time at 6:00 pm to meet us at 7 PM to have him meet us so we can return the bikes. Could not recommend this place enough! The rates were absolutely fair and amazing bikes and it was one of the best things we did over in the Lake Bled area....
